To be eligible and considered for practitioner membership, an individual must:

1.  Perform at least 50% of their duties in professional human resources work or have 100% accountability for the human resource functions in their organizations, (or)

2.  Be faculty members holding an assistant, associate or full professor rank in personnel, human resources or industrial relations at an accredited college or university.

Dues Rate:  $100 if you are also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM); $125 if you are joining the local chapter ONLY.

To be eligible and considered for consultant membership, an individual must:

1.  Currently be employed as a consultant and actively serving clients in the human resources, labor, employee relations and/or related areas;

2.  Exempt (per Fair Labor Standards);

3.  REQUIRED:  A current member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) designating HRMA-Kansas City (Chapter #005) as their primary chapter.

Dues Rate - $100 per year

To be eligible and considered for student membership, an individual must:

1.  Must be currently be enrolled as a full time degree-seeking student in a four-year or graduate level Human Resource related program at an accredited college or university; (and)

2.  Ineligible for membership under any other category. 

NOTE:  If you are employed in an HR-related position and attending college part time, you do not qualify for student membership. You would, however, qualify for practitioner membership.

Student members are not eligible to vote or hold office.

NOTE:  Student members need to place NA in the Company Name field and their current mailing address in the address fields.
